Visiting Historical Places

Image
Visiting Historical Places Last week 10/21/19 I visited some places I've never been and took some really cool photos. The Jimmy Dean Museum and the former Hilton Hotel, now Conrad Lofts. Photos below. Aaron  "...being a Baptist won't keep you from sinnin', but it'll sure as hell keep you from enjoying it." - Jimmy Dean Interesting that he played with Rosemary Clooney. Varmint Rifle at the top. For those Red Dead Redemption 2 fans. This is in the Llano Estacado side of the museum. Not related to Jimmy Dean. Lea Kay, Miss Texas. Buffalo Jailhouse Mammoth Head and Tooth in bottom right corner. About Pete Laney, a former Speaker of the Texas House. Jimmy Dean and I. Conrad Lofts, formerly a Hilton Hotel Building was abandoned then restored. Ballroom. Before. Ballroom. After. Main lobby Follow me on Instagram @vizionphotographybyaaron

Daytime walks with Presley

Image
Daytime walks with Presley 10/6-7/19 Today I grabbed the 24mm Lens on my Canon Rebel T5.  We went walking and Presley was more interested in McDonald's paper bags littered about than the ducks. Keeping our parks clean is important for us and the wildlife. Ducks eat plastic bags and trash and can die. On a lighter note, check the captions of the photos today, I have a few challenges for you. Reply in the comments below with your answers. Thanks, Aaron Presley was thirsty but I wasn't about to let him drink from the pond. These photos were taken with the Canon 6D Mark II and the 300mm Lens. 10/7/19 Interesting looking fella preaching the good word to the turtles. How many turtles do you see? Reply in the comments below. See if you can pick out which duck was laughing at me. Foggy Night Lights

Image
Foggy Night Lights 10/3/19 Tonight was the first low temperature night, maybe fall is coming? Anyway, there was a foggy mist about tonight so it was perfect for a cool, late night walk. The street lamps had that triangular glow downward that you see in old noir films and I wanted to try to capture that and work on my night photography skills. There was this glow on the horizon from all the lights and fog that really helped with the lighting in all the photos. I used my 24mm lens with the Rebel T5 for tonight.  Hope you enjoy, Aaron Follow me on Instagram @vizionphotographybyaaron I use a Canon Rebel T5 DSLR Camera and a Canon EOS 6D Mark II Camera with a few choice lenses: 18-55mm by Canon 75-300mm by Canon 50mm EF by Canon 24mm EFS by Canon 85mm by Lightdow and a 500mm by Vivitar. iPhone 6S Plus using FILCA Camera App Best Wishes, Aaron.
