Fire Downtown

Image
Fire Downtown 8/17/23 A fire broke out last night downtown. I grabbed my Canon 6D Mark II with my 50mm lens and got some photos of Firemen, Police, and plumes of smoke coming from one of many of downtown's oldest buildings. This is the second fire on this block in a few years which makes it rather suspicious and dangerous for other buildings in the area. Perhaps arson, perhaps negligence, careless disregard for taking care of our buildings, having them properly inspected regularly, etc. The whole block could have been burned down if nobody had noticed. Enjoy! Rainy Evening

Image
Rainy Evening 8/7/23 After seeing Barbie at Alamo and Oppenheimer in IMAX, as well as visiting a local bookstore, a heavy thunderstorm broke out into a beautiful rainbow. I took these photos with my Canon Rebel T5 using my 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses. Later at night I took a few photos with the 24mm Lens. Enjoy! It was a dark and cloudy rainy day. Rainbow Somewhere Over the Rainbow Quite a view This tree reminds me of one we had at my grandmother's house. Fire Hydrant The entire mall closed at 8. It felt like it was too early to close! The parking lot was experiencing some flooding during the Golden Hour. A lone shopping cart lost in the flood. Sunset, no regrets. Some may dislike the darker exposures of this set but I like the emotion it provokes. I parked in front of this tree. Puddles. Raindrops are falling on my head. LED Upgrades Oppenheimer in IMAX I was using the 24mm Lens and I was enjoying the lights and reflections on this lake. Coyote? I use a Canon Rebel T5 DSLR Camer
