  Prairie Dogs and Ducks! Part II 8/20/23 A little adventure to Lake Mackenzie's Recreational Area dedicated to Buddy Holly. I grabbed my Canon 6D Mark II and my 50mm & 75-300mm lenses for this trek. I also tested out a variable ND Filter for a few shots and I'll showcase some of the differences here. There was so much wildlife here and it was incredibly cute! Enjoy!  The Great Flood 5/27/23 Saturday afternoon I ventured over to the duck pond and the surrounding fields and streets to shoot photos of the aftermath of several days of pouring rain. Friday night into Saturday morning was a massive heavy downpour of rain and high wind speeds leaving the streets and pond flooded into the adjacent fields. I used my Canon 6D Mark II with the 50mm, 75-300mm, and the 500-1000mm lenses for this as well as my iPhone X for a couple close up candid shots. I captured images of ducks, birds, turtles, fish, and more. It was a good test of my skills and it was great to wear some of my lens pouches that I did a review on for the YouTube channel rather than carry my camera bag all day wading through water.
