Butterflies Alive Part I

Butterflies Alive Part I

6/9/23 I grabbed my Canon 6D Mark II along with my 50mm and 75-300mm lenses and took some photos of the Butterflies Exhibit today. Sometimes they would land on me, my camera, or the floor, so I had to be careful! I got some excellent photos of so many beautiful butterflies! This will be split into several blogs so you can enjoy many photos with as little load time as possible. Thanks for checking this out.

Enjoy!

Just hanging out

I'm out of my cocoon! Let me out!

There were a bunch of butterflies we saw in cocoons or coming out of them!

Some of the butterflies you'll see!

Owl Butterfly

Ashley had a butterfly land on her while taking photos! This is the first of many.

I think this was one of my favorite butterflies! This beautiful green that almost looked like spraypaint!

These butterflies were hiding their beautiful blue wings at times! This one was doing the high wire act!

These purple/white spots are pretty!

This one appears black and red but I have other photos that pull some of the blue/purple in its wings.

Saint Francis what are you doing here?
