Late Night Streets



6/4/23 I grabbed my Canon 6D Mark II along with my 50mm and 75-300mm lenses and took some photos on a rainy night. I was pleased to see I've grown so much as a photographer especially when it comes to night photos. Usually my photos were too dark or when I toggled settings I would lose clarity and the moody dark scenes I wanted would be washed out. I'm excited to see where I go from here, I hope you enjoy this stop along the journey.

Really love these lights!




I love this time of day where it's still dark night sky but the sun isn't quite on the horizon. Street lights are still on but kind of useless at this point, and hues of blue are entering the sky but it's still dark.




A little Kitty Cat I've never seen was awful curious to see what I was doing with my camera.






I use a Canon Rebel T5 DSLR Camera and a Canon EOS 6D Mark II Camera with a few choice lenses:

50mm EF by Canon

Night at the Pond with Presley 8/29/19 Presley the Beagle and I went for a walk around the pond and I worked on a bit of night time photography. Still a lot to learn about it without using a flash but we did enjoy a cool breeze. I'll probably try my Lume Cube next time for lighting purposes since my 6D Mark II doesn't have a flash and the external flash I purchased with it (which was supposed to work) is incompatible. The camera has worked really well in low light situations, like dance floor lighting and such, I've been really impressed.I used the 50mm lens tonight and I've been trying to rely on it most of the time. Anyway, hopefully you enjoy a few shots of the pond, the water, sunset, and Presley walking about. Thanks for reading, This might just be my favorite one. I'm digging silhouettes.   Lake Mackenzie & Downtown at Night Part II 7/11/23 I took a look around for some unique spots to take photos at and see what the possibilities would be for Night Photography. Using the 24mm EF-S Lens on the Canon Rebel T5, Ashley got some interesting photos of the night sky, reflections in the water, and dim angel lighting in a downtown outdoor café. Enjoy! It's me!
