My Vacation: College Station



7/18/23 Starting off my vacation with a few photos from my iPhone X. Some Zataar and Olive Oil that I dip Pita Bread into for a nice breakfast along with coffee. Followed up by lunch at Layne's which has some of the best chicken in Texas! The box includes fresh chicken, french fries, texas toast, and their signature secret sauce, along with a savory Dr. Pepper.

7/19/23 We cruised by Texas A&M on the way to grab some Coffee and a Chocolate Chip Muffin. I had a coffee called "The Indy" at POV. Then we celebrated with dinner at Casa Rodriguez, one of my favorite Tex Mex restaurants in Texas! I had tres enchiladas de queso.

Night at the Pond with Presley 8/29/19 Presley the Beagle and I went for a walk around the pond and I worked on a bit of night time photography. Still a lot to learn about it without using a flash but we did enjoy a cool breeze. I'll probably try my Lume Cube next time for lighting purposes since my 6D Mark II doesn't have a flash and the external flash I purchased with it (which was supposed to work) is incompatible. The camera has worked really well in low light situations, like dance floor lighting and such, I've been really impressed.I used the 50mm lens tonight and I've been trying to rely on it most of the time.   Lake Mackenzie & Downtown at Night Part II 7/11/23 I took a look around for some unique spots to take photos at and see what the possibilities would be for Night Photography. Using the 24mm EF-S Lens on the Canon Rebel T5, Ashley got some interesting photos of the night sky, reflections in the water, and dim angel lighting in a downtown outdoor café. Enjoy! It's me!
