My 34th Birthday | Downtown Lubbock Night Part I

9/19/23 Another year passes by and I grow older. I grabbed my Canon 6D Mark II and my 50mm lens for this evening on the streets of Downtown Lubbock. I'm also testing out the Camp Snap Camera as well, which is a digital camera with a fixed lens at an affordable price. More details on that soon!

Enjoy!

This building was really nice despite being an abandoned gallery. There is also what I would call a liminal space to shoot photos of inside.

Liminal Spaces are the subject of an internet aesthetic portraying empty or abandoned spaces that appear eerie, forlorn, and often surreal. Liminal Spaces are commonly places of transition or nostalgic appeal.

These neon lights shifted colors on Camera!

Now the lights are blue! Which in real life was the actual color seen by the naked eye.

I really found this lonely chair to be interesting. Feeding into the eeriness of Liminal Spaces!

Now the light around the column is white!

Frame within a frame, within a frame, within a frame.

I love a lengthy and narrow alleyway.
