  Galveston: The Strand Part I 7/22/23 Day 3 in Galveston, Texas we spent the day walking the downtown area known as The Strand. We also took a drive through some other areas. I really enjoyed the chance to get close to pelicans and boats. Sadly, nobody wanted to get out of the car so I could actually get good photos. Got a few good pictures of some Hermit Crabs for sale as well. I used the Canon 6D Mark II with the 50mm Lens and the 75-300mm Lens. Enjoy! The Beach Houses were all such bright and vivid colors. Really enjoyed that. Except for the orange/blue Whataburger looking houses. GROSS! The Bishop's Palace Didn't get a good glimpse but across from The Bishop's Palace was Sacred Heart Church This guy just fishing in the bay from his kayak. Just some equipment floating about.   Galveston Vacation: The Beach Part IV 7/21/23 Day 2 in Galveston, Texas we immediately took a drive to the Sea Wall and down to a section of the beach where we could park and find our beach chairs under an umbrella. I spotted a fishing boat that would later be hauling in our Catch of the Day for dinner, some hungry birds, and some calm waves. Using my iPhone X. I got some great panoramic images! Enjoy! Anytime I was getting close up photos of birds kids would run down the shore scaring them away. Which actually makes for some cool photos of the birds taking flight! Is that a BBQ Potato Chip? Coming in for a landing. Taking flight! An interesting arch pattern forms as these birds take flight! I found some kids missing goggles in the water. I left them on the shore.
