Butterflies Alive Part III



6/9/23 I grabbed my Canon 6D Mark II along with my 50mm and 75-300mm lenses and took some photos of the Butterflies Exhibit today. Sometimes they would land on me, my camera, or the floor, so I had to be careful! I got some excellent photos of so many beautiful butterflies! This will be split into several blogs so you can enjoy many photos with as little load time as possible. Thanks for checking this out.

This is definitely my favorite butterfly. It had what looks like a spray paint design of green with a big black drip of paint on the bottom left side. So cool!

This little fella hung onto the stone wall.



This was the black butterfly with red stripes but some clever lighting from the UV lights and my Camera settings really brought out the purple!

So from one angle... this butterfly appears blue.

Shift the angle and it appears more green!

This green fella is so beautiful!

Presley and the TV 5-24-19 Normally I really don't like using the flash. Considering how dark the room was, and how I only wanted to capture Presley and the beautiful wood floors my family just had put in not long ago, this was a fun time to face my fears of red eye, washing out the scene, and just all the bad family photos that end up ruined by using the flash without considering the effects it has. All in all, this was good fun. My 34th Birthday

  My 34th Birthday 9/19/23 Another year passes by and I grow older. Today was a special day, I had some yellow cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles.
